KRISTEN MACDONELL, MSCPT, HBKIN, M.C.P.A
Kristen decided at a young age that she wanted to become a physiotherapist and her passion for the profession is undeniable. It has always been her dream to open a clinic in her hometown of Cornwall, ON and she is proud to be providing an unparalleled skill set developed over the past 17 years to this community.
The name MacDonell Family Physiotherapy represents a desire to ensure each client receives the type of care/treatment she would expect for her own family members. In addition, Kristen is pleased to offer a service that supports clients from all age ranges from pediatric to geriatric – the whole family!

My shoulder started seizing up and the pain gave me little movement. I called several physio offices in Cornwall, and they had two week waiting lists. Kristen was able to see me that day. She was very gentle, thorough, and conscious of the comfort of the client. She had me back to normal before another office would have been able to see me. She sent me home with exercises after each appointment to improve the range of motion and to strengthen it. I highly recommend her quiet, client-focused practice

My daughter is almost 5 yrs old and has had several pulled elbows, a fractured leg and several other accidents/injuries. It's often difficult for me to find medical people my daughter will respond to positively and allow to examine her and want to go back to see. I understand the fear and where my daughter is coming from but it limits the field of people that can help immensely. She's really responded to Kristen since our initial visits and has looked forward to physio!! I haven't seen her look forward to any doctor or medical type appt for almost 3 yrs!! I usually have to bribe and reason and still have to force her. This has been the best few visits we've had so far ANYWHERE since everything started around 2 yrs of age with her injuries. Kristen focuses on the patient and has sooooo many different techniques and approaches wheb trying to determine the best course of treatment. (Ask her about the "creepy troll" as my daughter calls it🤣🤣) From an exhausted momma and from the bottom of my heart, ty ty ty Kristen and keep doing what u do! You are definitely in the right field❤️
